Peacock has officially paired Maura Higgins with Rob Rausch, the man from whom she claimed a $220,000 solo victory on Season 4 of The Traitors. The duo will host the upcoming American adaptation of the hit series I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, set to launch in 2027.

The pair grew close during the filming of The Traitors, where Rausch initially deceived Higgins by posing as a Faithful contestant before revealing his true identity as a Traitor. They later reconciled, with Rausch commemorating their connection by purchasing Higgins a coveted burgundy Togo 30 Birkin.
As for the new show, it will challenge celebrities alongside a civilian friend or family member. They will face numerous physical and psychological trials, vying for a $100,000 prize while trying to stay in the game. Though a location for filming has not yet been revealed, many international versions are traditionally shot in Australia.

This iteration marks the show’s third attempt at a U.S. adaptation, following past attempts by ABC in 2003 and NBC in 2009, both of which lasted a single season. ITV America will produce the new series with notable executive producers including David George, David Eilenberg, and Jordana Hochman.
