Sadik Hadzovic Announces Classic Physique Comeback for July-August Contest

Sadik Hadzovic’s Return to Classic Physique: A Comeback to Watch

Bodybuilder Sadik Hadzovic has announced his exciting return to the Classic Physique division, aiming to make waves in the bodybuilding community once again. Confirming his comeback plans on January 29, 2026, Hadzovic is setting his sights on competing in a show scheduled for July or August.

Sadik Hadzovic is well-regarded in the bodybuilding world, having previously challenged former four-time Men’s Physique Olympia champion Jeremy Buendia during his reign. In his last competitions, he finished sixth at the 2024 Chicago Pro but rebounded with a solid fifth-place finish at the Tampa Pro.

Hadzovic isn’t new to the Classic Physique realm; he previously competed at the Classic Physique Olympia in 2016, where he showcased his talents by securing third place, near the champions Danny Hester and Arash Rahbar. Remarkably, he also defeated Breon Ansley, who later became a two-time Classic Physique Olympia winner.

Known for his impressive aesthetics and a well-defined waist, Hadzovic’s strengths are expected to translate well into the Classic Physique category. The recent 2025 Mr. Olympia witnessed a new champion, Ramon Rocha Queiroz, who triumphed against favorite Mike Sommerfeld. Fans are eager to see how Hadzovic will fare if the two eventually face off later this year.

HadZovic Discusses His Comeback Plans

In a recent YouTube video, Hadzovic shared insights about his comeback to Classic Physique after an eight-year hiatus, emphasizing his commitment to competing in a show during July or August.

“I feel good, man. I want to do Pittsburgh Pro, but it’s too soon. I like the Pittsburgh Pro. I got to do something July-August. I have no idea what shows are around these days in Classic. I haven’t competed in Classic in eight years,” Hadzovic shared.

Despite facing recent health challenges that hindered his participation in the 2025 bodybuilding season, Hadzovic remains determined. He experienced serious breathing issues that led to hospitalization; fortunately, doctors have since cleared him of any blood clots, although the root cause of his health scare remains undetermined.

Hadzovic has also opened up about the darker aspects of performance-enhancing drug use, noting that these substances can affect mood and aggression. He emphasizes that while they may help, they are not a substitute for hard work and training.

“Granted, it’s a tool, but it’s not this extraordinary tool that’s going to put on 30 pounds of muscle tissue without you training hard. If you don’t have the discipline to get in shape without it, you’re definitely not going to be in shape with it.”

As Hadzovic prepares for his comeback, fans eagerly anticipate how he will refine his physique for the competition stage. His journey serves as a reminder that dedication and hard work remain vital for success in bodybuilding.
