The community came together today to celebrate Indian culture and cuisine during the annual India Day event hosted by the India Culture Centre. The celebration featured an array of Indian culinary delights, cultural performances, and vendors offering jewelry and clothing from India.
This year, attendees also had the opportunity to visit an exhibition at the culture centre, showcasing art and cultural pieces from various regions of India. Organizers noted that the celebration has been ongoing for about 15 years, aimed at promoting Indian culture and honoring the Indian community that has resided in the Southern Tier for several decades.
