Volunteers gathered in St. Cloud on Thursday to support the CentraCare Health Care Foundation by participating in various cleanup projects at the Gorecki Guest House. Tasks included mulching, debris cleanup, flower and shrub care, dead branch removal, weeding, and window washing. This initiative was part of Xcel Energy’s 16th Annual Day of Service, which honors the victims, survivors, and first responders of 9/11, emphasizing community safety and support.
Last year, Xcel’s Day of Service saw over 2,900 participants from across eight states contribute more than 8,900 volunteer hours, benefiting nearly 100 nonprofits and generating an impressive economic impact of over $321,000.
