Sonic PICO PARK Launches on Switch 2 and Switch

In a thrilling announcement, Sonic PICO PARK is set to launch on both Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. This game will feature Sonic and his friends in an exciting 8-player co-op puzzle adventure.
The crossover has been in the works for several months, with media demos showcased during Summer Game Fest. This title celebrates the 35th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog.
Key Highlights
- Playable Characters: Players can race through different levels as popular characters like Knuckles, Amy, and Tails, featuring stages filled with iconic elements like rings, loops, and springs.
- Multiplayer Support: The game will support local or online play for 2 to 8 players.
Additionally, the game is also slated for release on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
“Get ready to race through the world as Sonic and friends,” highlights the press release, emphasizing the collaborative fun in co-op gameplay.
Competitive Release Landscape
The November release is particularly interesting as it coincides with the much-anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6, which launches a week later on November 19. Other notable titles, including a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, are also set for release this month.
While these games are coming to Nintendo hardware, GTA 6 will not be available on those platforms.
