Upcoming ‘SNL’ Season Features Hosts Jalen Brunson and Inde Navarrette, with Performances by Katseye and Rosalía | Entertainment

New York (AP) — Newly crowned NBA champion Jalen Brunson of the New York Knicks will host “Saturday Night Live” when the new season begins later this month. Future guests include Inde Navarrette, Gracie Abrams, and Katseye.

Brunson, instrumental in leading the Knicks to their first championship in 53 years this summer, makes his hosting debut on Sept. 26 with pop girl group Katseye as the musical guest.

Following him, on Oct. 3, Dakota Johnson will host to promote her film “Verity,” with Turnstile making their SNL debut as the musical guest. On Oct. 10, comedian Shane Gillis will host for the third time, with Rosalía performing for the second time.

“SNL” will take a two-week break, returning on Halloween night with Navarrette hosting for her debut. Known for her role in the horror-thriller “Obsession,” she will also star in the upcoming “X-Men” film and “The Waffle House Index.” Gracie Abrams will be the musical guest for her second appearance.

The NBC sketch comedy show airs at 11:30 p.m. Eastern and streams live on Peacock.
