The Basilica of Our Lady San Juan del Valle is organizing its inaugural pet walk on October 4, in honor of the 800th anniversary of Saint Francis of Assisi, who is the patron saint of animals. The event will commence at 5 p.m., followed by the blessing of animals at 6:30 p.m. Participants must register by September 25.
