Fauna Entertainment’s Ben’s World Makes Its Television Debut on Gulli

Fauna Entertainment’s digital-first series Ben’s World is expanding its reach from YouTube to television, thanks to a new deal with Gulli Africa. The agreement will see 50 episodes, each lasting 2 minutes, aired across 45 African countries.

Ben’s World features a five-year-old African American boy named Ben, who navigates various childhood experiences alongside his younger sister, Aya, and their parents. The show employs vibrant Afrobeat and R&B music to explore themes like friendship, family, and cultural identity, catering to both universal childhood experiences and the specific realities of being a young Black boy in America.

Originally launched on YouTube, Ben’s World has successfully garnered an audience through musical storytelling. The series has also made its way into educational settings via Learn360, an educational content platform used by over 13,000 schools, where it serves PreK–3 educators and students, supporting subjects like Character Education and Social Emotional Learning (SEL).

The new broadcast agreement marks a significant milestone in Ben’s World’s journey—from digital to educational and now to television. Emre Aksoy, CBO of Fauna Entertainment, expressed excitement about the series’ growth, highlighting its potential to connect with new audiences.

Ben’s World is Fauna’s third original series to transition from YouTube, following the success of Kukuli and Giligilis, both of which have seen international distribution and a wide range of licensed products. This underscores Fauna’s longstanding strategy of building original digital properties into globally recognized entertainment brands.
