A bear attack near Conflict Lake in Canada’s Callaghan Valley has led to heightened security measures for the I’m a Celebrity: The Wild Frontier camp. Following the incident, where a hiker was mauled, authorities closed off public access to the area and the camp has enforced a “ring of steel” around the site, incorporating electric fences and metal food lockers to deter bears.
The show, featuring hosts Ant and Dec, has started filming, and the cast will participate in this unique spin on the classic format, where contestants enter and compete in pairs. A woman injured in the bear attack is currently hospitalized but in stable condition. To ensure safety, security personnel are stationed 24/7, equipped with chemical spray to handle potential bear encounters.
