Seventeen member DK has started his military service, marking the sixth enlistment from the group. His agency, Pledis Entertainment, announced that he has entered an Army training center and is set to be discharged in March 2028. DK chose to enlist quietly to respect fellow recruits and their families.
Prior to his enlistment, DK held a heartfelt livestream to say goodbye to fans, during which he expressed his mixed emotions about the transition, especially about his new haircut. He shared his feelings, saying, “I think I’m going to miss you all a lot,” emphasizing that while he wasn’t afraid, the reality of enlisting was setting in.
Recently, all 13 members of Seventeen renewed their contracts, committing to staying together as a team. They expressed their belief in their collective strength and desire to continue working together.
