Iran cautions that U.S. energy facilities in the Gulf could be at risk following recent confrontations.

Iran has issued a warning regarding potential retaliation against any new U.S. attacks on its assets, emphasizing vulnerabilities in energy infrastructure across the Persian Gulf, including U.S. oil and gas interests. Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf stated, “Strike our assets and you get struck,” following recent U.S. and Iranian strikes on shipping that have driven oil prices to their highest levels in six weeks. This development highlights the risks of escalating tensions amidst ongoing conflict, with no signs of diplomatic resolutions that could restore normal energy flows in the region.
