The German Festival celebrated its 30th year on Saturday at St. Nick’s Grove, despite recent storm damage. Attendees enjoyed authentic German cuisine, music, dancing, and beer, embracing the culture and traditions.
With limited parking available, shuttle services were offered by P.I. Downs and Casino. Organizers expressed satisfaction with attendance, especially given the circumstances. Admission is $5, and children under 12 can enter for free.
The festival will continue on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
