European Day of Jewish Culture 2026 in Lecce

Join us on 6 September 2026 for an engaging evening at the Jewish Museum of Lecce, celebrating the 27th European Day of Jewish Culture with a series of presentations and cultural events.

The program begins at 18:00 with official greetings and an introduction to the museum’s ongoing activities, leading into the inauguration of the exhibition “Rituals of Love” by Joel Itman, showcasing engagement and marriage rituals in Jewish tradition through contemporary artistic interpretation.

This event is part of a Europe-wide initiative coordinated by the European Association for the Preservation and Promotion of Jewish Culture and Heritage and UCEI in Italy, aimed at celebrating and highlighting the historical, artistic, and cultural contributions of Jewish communities through art, music, and literature.
