Carroll Electric Urges Customers to Reduce Energy Use
ROGERS, Ark. — Carroll Electric Cooperative Corporation is asking customers to reduce their energy consumption during peak demand hours from 3–7 p.m. for the coming week.
To help, the company suggests the following tips:
- Raise your thermostat a few degrees
- Delay laundry use
- Turn off unnecessary lights
- Close shades during the day to maintain a cooler home
- Check refrigerator seals to ensure they’re tight
- Run the dishwasher only when it’s fully loaded
