The recently launched “arcade” website by the White House features five video games that center around policies from the Trump administration, including a Tetris-inspired game called “Build the Wall.” In this game, players work to prevent a “zombie border siege” by stacking colorful bricks while avoiding figures representing individuals attempting to cross the border.
Notably, Tetris’s official account on X/Twitter distanced itself from the game, emphasizing it had no involvement and warning against copyright infringement. The statement highlighted Tetris’s philosophy of fostering connection rather than division.
Another game, “Rio Run,” focuses on patrolling the Rio Grande to prevent illegal crossings, with players scoring by “deporting” figures dressed in orange prison uniforms.
In addition to these, other games address various Trump administration policies, such as “Supply Line,” which encourages healthier school lunch choices, and “Trump Savings Tycoon,” where players fill “Trump accounts” by catching cash and diamonds.
A White House official framed the arcade as a way to contrast a culture of fun and winning against “dark socialist” Democratic visions for America.
