Blind Box Bingo Event at the University
Students at the University can look forward to a fun-filled evening with Blind Box Bingo on September 9 from 5-7 p.m. at the Crib in the Union. This event, hosted by the University Program Council, will offer a chance to win over 100 authentic blind boxes from popular brands such as Smiski and Sonny Angel.
Event Highlights:
- Free for Students: Each participant will receive a small blind box upon entry, guaranteeing everyone a prize.
- Bingo Prizes: Larger blind boxes, ranging from $10 to $30, will be available for those who win at bingo.
- Fun Characters: The event features blind boxes that include popular characters like Minions, Snoopy, and Teletubbies.
Event director Slade Reese emphasizes the importance of creating an engaging atmosphere where students can connect. The event aims to reduce the nerve-wracking experience of attending large gatherings.
Originally pitched as a family weekend event, the idea was expanded to draw a larger audience due to its potential. The unboxing experience, which has gained popularity online, will also be a part of the event, offering attendees a chance to share in the excitement.
Participants can look forward to varieties of bingo, including blackout and corners, as the event progresses.
