The arcade features games like “Rio Run,” where players “patrol the line” along the southern border, capturing individuals to boost their deportation scores. In this game, players control an older White man, while the individuals being captured appear to be from diverse backgrounds. Once caught, these individuals are depicted in orange jumpsuits.
Another game, “Build The Wall,” involves stacking bricks to defend against what is described as a “zombie border siege.” There are additional games that allow players to fly a bald eagle or accumulate wealth in “Trump accounts.”
A White House official stated that this approach aims to showcase a “culture of fun and winning” in contrast to what they perceive as a bleak socialist vision presented by Democrats. Despite some users enjoying and posting their high scores, critics are questioning the administration’s focus given pressing international and economic issues.
