Heated Rivalry is expanding its cast for Season 2, welcoming Kevin Zegers, Paul Gross, and Milla Jovovich to the team. Zegers will portray Coach Brandon Wiebe, the newcomer in charge of Ilya Rozanov’s Ottawa hockey squad, while Jovovich takes on the role of Dr. Galina Molchalina, Ilya’s therapist from Russia. Gross is set to play Commissioner Roger Crowell, the head of the hockey league.
Returning cast members include Connor Storrie as Ilya Rozanov, Hudson Williams as Shane Hollander, and several others. New additions announced earlier include Justice Smith, Charlie Gillespie, Daniel Diemer, and more.
The show, created by Jacob Tierney and based on Rachel Reid’s Game Changers book series, is slated to premiere in Spring 2027 on HBO Max in the U.S.
