Top 5 Farm Animals for Pets at the NYS Fair

The Baker News teen reporters explored the New York State Fair, chatting with animal handlers about the best farm pets. Here’s their top five picks:
5. Chickens
Large Fowl Polish Chickens are a standout with their stunning feather crests and lively personalities. Bantam Chickens are perfect for kids, known for their friendly demeanor.

4. Bunnies
Bunnies, with floppy ears and varying colors, are incredibly cute. Fairgoers can find everything from tiny Netherland Dwarfs to enormous Flemish Giants.
