Welcome Back to the PTS!
We’re thrilled to reintroduce Pets to the Public Test Server (PTS)! This version, lovingly dubbed Pspsps-TS, brings exciting new features that enhance your adventures with furry or scaly companions.
What’s New?
Before diving into the new features, let’s quickly recap what Pets is all about. Your C.A.M.P. Pets are now your companions in battle, ready to assist and travel alongside you. Accessible via your Pip-Boy, you can summon various pets, including Dogs, Cats, Radhogs, or even a Deathclaw. Using the command wheel, you can direct them to Attack, Stay, Follow, or Protect.
New Features
We’re excited to introduce:
-
Pet Leveling: Your pets can now gain experience and level up to a maximum of 200. As they level up, they unlock health and damage increases, improved carry capacity, and various rewards such as Atoms and Caps. Don’t worry about level grinding for each pet type; leveling is per species, so buffing your German Shepherd will boost all your dogs.
-
Pet Passives: Each pet possesses two unique passive abilities unlocked at levels 5 and 20, which provide helpful bonuses during gameplay. These abilities improve further at levels 40, 60, 85, and 120. For example, Cats can find improved bait, while Dogs can fetch diluted Stimpaks.
Getting Started
All players who own Fallout 76 on Steam can participate in the Pspsps-TS. To install, simply head to your Steam library and select “Fallout 76 Public Test Server.”
Console Testing
Thanks to our console testers for your invaluable feedback! We’re collecting data to refine the experience before launching on Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 in a couple of weeks.
