The Redstone Inn will host the 30th annual art show this weekend, organized by the Redstone Art Foundation. Originally launched in January 1996, the show highlights local artists and the beauty of the Crystal River Valley. Dione Holt, president of the foundation, noted the evolving art landscape while maintaining the event’s community spirit.
This year’s exhibition will feature a diverse range of art forms, including abstract, collage, ceramics, and sculpture. The foundation has also received a $6,000 grant from Colorado Creates and has initiated a scholarship for local art students, raising nearly $100,000 since its inception.
In addition to the art show, the Redstone Historical Society will open a historic home built in 1898, showcasing artifacts from the area. The weekend will include celebrations, art demonstrations, live music, and history tours, continuing to connect the rich history and art of Redstone.
