Confucius Institute Fosters Chinese Language and Culture in El Salvador – Xinhua

The Confucius Institute at the University of El Salvador promotes cultural exchange between China and El Salvador by offering Chinese language and culture classes since 2019. On September 1, 2026, Teacher Xu Zhiqiang engaged with students through various activities, including playing Chinese chess and discussing the Chinese zodiac. Teacher Wu Fengming also conducted exercises focused on pronunciation and showcased student-created art related to the Mid-Autumn Festival. These efforts aim to enhance local understanding of Chinese culture and foster friendship between the two nations.
