The 2026 China Culture and Tourism Industries Expo, held in Tianjin from September 3 to 6, features the pavilion of Prince Kung’s Palace Museum, aptly themed “Gongbo Gifts: Green Box.” This pavilion creatively integrates historical elements of the palace into a modern exhibition space. Visitors are drawn into an enchanting showcase that reflects the cultural richness of the palace, echoing the changing seasons and its iconic architectural symbols.
Highlights include the “Youfu Bao” series, which transforms blessings into playful products, and the “Gong Xiaozhu” IP series, inspired by Emperor Qianlong’s daughter. The range extends from decorative items to everyday goods, incorporating traditional motifs such as the palace’s gardens and window designs.
Additionally, the pavilion has effectively employed the “Green Box” concept in previous cultural presentations, aiming to merge history with modern living. The expo, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, spans 100,000 square meters and showcases innovative developments in the culture and tourism sectors.
