Lorraine Kelly discusses a ‘difficult’ celebrity who ‘left in a huff’ from her studio while reminiscing about her career.

Lorraine Kelly, a staple of morning television for over 40 years, shared a memorable experience from her career in a recent podcast appearance. She recalled an encounter with filmmaker Michael Winner, who notoriously walked out of her studio during a break, after becoming offended by her inquiries about his health post-heart surgery. Lorraine described him as “prickly” and reflected on the incident by stating, “Oh, silly old idiot,” highlighting her frustration with some Hollywood personalities.

Despite this rare encounter, Lorraine emphasized that most guests on her show are friendly and pleasant. She practices giving people the benefit of the doubt, recognizing that they may be having a bad day. However, she is clear that repeated difficult behavior will not be tolerated.

Her experiences have taught her an important lesson about human connection, underscoring that, at our core, we’re all striving to lead fulfilling lives and support our loved ones.
