Exciting news for food lovers in St. Louis! Nate’s Kosher Deli is set to open its doors on Monday, February 2, at 7923 Forsyth Blvd. in the Clayton business district. This marks a significant moment as the deli reopens after initially launching in August 2024 within the former Kohn’s deli building.
In its initial phase, Nate’s will provide carryout and catering services exclusively. The menu will feature an array of delicious sandwiches, including pastrami, corned beef, turkey, roast beef, and Reuben, along with a variety of salads, wraps, and a crispy chicken sandwich, which will be added soon. Plans for seating arrangements are in the works, and a kosher butcher service for brisket, steaks, and other premium cuts of meat is also on the horizon.
Avi Rosenberg, the owner, has been actively offering kosher catering services from this location. To expand the offerings, he has introduced new equipment and trained staff to facilitate deli services. Rosenberg expressed his enthusiasm for making retail walk-in service available.
“I’m very eager to reopen,” Rosenberg stated. “Many people have been asking me for a place to get food and pick up a pastrami sandwich.”
In partnership with the Vaad Hoeir of St. Louis, Rosenberg is working to secure kosher certification for Nate’s new location. Baked goods will be sourced from Bagels and Bliss in University City, which is also certified kosher.
Nate’s Kosher Deli will operate from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Sunday through Friday. Customers will be able to place orders online or via phone. The deli’s website and Instagram account will be frequently updated with the menu and pricing details ahead of the opening day.
With a promising menu and a focus on maintaining kosher standards, Nate’s Kosher Deli is poised to become a beloved spot for both new and returning customers. Whether for a quick takeout or a tasty catering option, the deli is ready to accommodate all your kosher dining needs.
