Notion Introduces Arabic Interface for AI Collaboration Tools

Notion’s latest initiative is designed to enhance collaboration among teams, founders, and creators in Arabic-speaking countries by providing them with tools in their native language. This transition leverages Notion’s versatile, AI-driven functionalities for a streamlined user experience.

Notion has launched comprehensive Arabic language support across its platform, marking a significant step in its expansion into the Middle East. Starting January 26, 2026, this AI-enabled workspace will be available in Arabic on both web and mobile applications, prompted by the increasing demand from a rapidly growing user base in the region.

This localization initiative encompasses Notion’s core features, including desktop and mobile apps, the homepage, and key sections of its website. The update is intended to facilitate work, collaboration, and project organization for teams, entrepreneurs, and creators in Arabic-speaking markets, allowing them to operate naturally in their native language while still utilizing Notion’s flexible and intelligent tools.

The Middle East has become one of Notion’s most vibrant markets, driven by an energetic startup ecosystem and swift digital transformation. Millions of users in the region now rely on the platform, with the UAE alone representing a substantial portion. Noteworthy organizations, such as Emirates Foundation and Emirates Investment Bank, are among its clientele, and over 1,000 startups in the UAE have opted into Notion’s Startups Program.

This introduction of Arabic functionality is the culmination of years of organic growth as professionals and creators increasingly embraced the platform. To celebrate this rollout, Notion hosted a “Make with Notion” showcase in Dubai, assembling founders, creators, and community members. This event highlighted Notion’s commitment to building a strong local presence and fostering deeper connections with its regional audience, going beyond mere software updates.

Incorporating Arabic also acknowledges the multilingual nature of many professionals in the Middle East, who often navigate various languages and markets. By embedding Arabic directly into the platform, Notion aims to enhance collaboration and foster a more intuitive working experience for its Arabic-speaking users.

To access the Arabic interface, users can easily select Arabic in the language settings of the Notion app or through the website’s language menu. With this addition, Notion now proudly supports 21 languages globally.
