The 2024 school year has begun at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, coinciding with the fan-celebrated Back To Hogwarts Day. Unfortunately, this year’s showcase was underwhelming, with the main highlight being the announcement of a new Harry Potter shop opening on Oxford Street in November.
Fans are eagerly awaiting a new trailer for HBO’s Harry Potter TV series, slated for release today. However, there was no announcement regarding a sequel to Hogwarts Legacy, with gamers instead receiving a limited-time free cosmetic DLC and news of an older title making a comeback.
The LEGO Harry Potter Collection will return on October 16 for the Nintendo Switch 2. This compilation includes remastered versions of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and Years 5-7. Players can look forward to a humorous LEGO version of the iconic films, complete with spell-casting and puzzle-solving elements. The collection has received positive reviews, maintaining an 82% score on Steam and is available for pre-order at $49.99.
While speculation surrounds future Harry Potter gaming titles, fans will have to be patient as they await more exciting announcements beyond this newer release.
