The Lincoln Airport is experiencing increased travel as Nebraska fans set out to support their teams this fall. Rachel Barth, the airport’s director of air service development, highlighted the excitement of fans wearing red as they travel to various games, including volleyball matches in Dallas and Las Vegas. The airport has introduced new flights to accommodate the busy fall season, enhancing travel options not only for sports fans but for others as well. In particular, the airport’s partnership with American and United airlines facilitates easier access to events, such as Husker volleyball at Wrigley Field.

Barth expressed enthusiasm about welcoming fans from across the country, noting that non-stop flights add convenience for those traveling to experience game day in Lincoln. The Huskers have upcoming games against South Dakota State in Brookings and the Missouri Tigers in Chicago.
