Eaton has announced a significant investment of over $242 million to establish a new manufacturing facility in North Little Rock, which will create approximately 1,200 jobs. The facility, covering around 1 million square feet, will produce customized modular electrical enclosures used across various sectors, including data centers and utilities.
This expansion of Eaton’s Fibrebond business aims to double the company’s domestic manufacturing capacity for these products. Job roles at the facility will include manufacturing, electrical, and operations positions, with promises of hands-on training and career advancement opportunities for employees.
The project follows Eaton’s acquisition of Fibrebond in 2025 and enhances the company’s existing manufacturing operations in Louisiana. The Arkansas Economic Development Commission noted that North Little Rock was chosen after a competitive search, in collaboration with the City of North Little Rock and the Metro Little Rock Alliance.
While the investment may create additional job opportunities across central and southeast Arkansas, specific recruitment areas have not been disclosed yet. Details regarding the facility’s exact location, construction timeline, opening date, wage ranges, and hiring schedule are still pending. Eaton has indicated that future Arkansas job opportunities will be announced as they become available.
