Menudo, the iconic Latino boy band, is reuniting for a six-day tour this fall to celebrate their 50th anniversary. Known for their transformative approach, Menudo replaced members as they reached 16, featuring over 40 performers over the decades. The reunion lineup includes seven former members, selected by Paul Tarnopol, the current brand owner.
The tour kicks off on October 10 in Los Angeles and includes stops in Chicago, New York, Mexico City, Hollywood, and concludes in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on December 12. The band promises a nostalgic setlist with a mix of visual elements, including references to their hit “Súbete A Mi Moto.”
In interviews, members expressed excitement about rehearsals and the challenge of adapting their voices to older songs, while also hinting at the possibility of new music in the future. They emphasized that their enduring appeal lies in the catchy music and choreography that defines Menudo, along with the cultural pride they feel as pioneers in the Latin music scene.
