Capybaras, Camels, and Cows: Allentown Fair Showcases Adorable Animals and Agricultural Highlights | Entertainment News

The 174th Great Allentown Fair opens Wednesday in Allentown, PA, offering a variety of attractions including food, rides, and agricultural exhibits.

Visitors can see a range of animals, featuring Candy the capybara, a calm and sociable rodent that is expected to grow significantly by age two. Livestock Superintendent Jamie Brozman highlighted the educational opportunities available at the fair, with staff ready to answer questions about the animals.

The fair also includes activities for children, such as free interactive e-books in multiple languages. Discount tickets are available for a limited time, and gates will open at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Thursday, attendees can enter for free from noon to 2 p.m., with general admission afterwards set at $10. The fair promises exciting new rides, competitive fair food, and engaging shows, including a magic act and Rock-N-Circus performances, alongside fun contests.
