Yellow Wood Partners to acquire Nestlé’s Holistic Health Platform for $1.0 Billion
BOSTON, Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ – Yellow Wood Partners, a private equity firm specializing in consumer brands, has announced its agreement to acquire Nestlé’s Holistic Health platform for $1.0 billion.
The Holistic Health platform is a leading global entity in Vitamins, Minerals, and Supplements (VMS), boasting a strong portfolio including Nature’s Bounty, which ranks as the #2 VMS brand and a leader in women’s health in the U.S. Other notable brands in the acquisition include Nuun, Osteo Bi-Flex, and Gard.
Dana Schmaltz, a partner at Yellow Wood, commented, “Holistic Health is an excellent platform of trusted brands with significant growth potential.” The acquisition is expected to create opportunities for enhanced innovation and market positioning.
Tad Yanagi, also a partner at Yellow Wood, expressed excitement about integrating the new brands into their existing portfolio, citing successful past carveouts like Q-tips and Chapstick. The transaction is expected to close by the first half of 2027, pending regulatory approvals.
Yellow Wood has successfully executed similar acquisitions from major global consumer companies, including Bayer and Unilever. Perella Weinberg Partners and Canaccord Genuity are serving as financial advisors, while Goodwin Procter is providing legal counsel to Yellow Wood.
