BNP Paribas Asset Management Names Four New Chief Investment Officers

BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNP Paribas AM) has appointed four new Chief Investment Officers to enhance its investment platform, effective September 1, 2026. These changes align with the firm’s AMplify 2030 strategic plan and are aimed at strengthening its fund management and solutions capabilities.

Rob Gambi, the Global Head of Investments, emphasized that these appointments are pivotal for scaling operations and enhancing client focus while fostering innovation.

New Appointments:

  1. Guy Davies:

    • Position: Deputy Global Head of Investments, Chief Investment Officer & Global Head of Fundamental Active Equity.
    • Background: Joined BNP Paribas AM in 2008; previously held roles at MM Asset Management and Mercer Investment Consulting.
  2. Olivier de Larouzière:

    • Position: Chief Investment Officer & Global Head of Fixed Income.
    • Background: Joined BNP Paribas AM in 2019; formerly co-CIO at Ostrum Asset Management and held various roles at Crédit Lyonnais Asset Management.
  3. Laurent Clavel:

    • Position: Chief Investment Officer & Global Head of Multi-Asset.
    • Background: Joined post-AXA IM acquisition in 2025; previously held leadership roles at AXA IM, including Global Head of Multi-Asset.
  4. Robinson Rouchié:

    • Position: Chief Investment Officer & Global Head of Systematic & Quantitative Investments.
    • Background: Joined in 2020 as Chief of Staff to the CIO; has experience across various BNP Paribas divisions, including Investment Banking and Wealth Management.

These strategic appointments are expected to advance BNP Paribas AM’s goals in managing investments across different risk and client segments.
