Saudi Arabia to inject €6 billion into extensive theme park project in France – POLITICO

Saudi Arabia plans to invest €6 billion in a large entertainment complex featuring three theme parks near Paris. French President Emmanuel Macron and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman formalized the agreement, which is expected to create 22,000 jobs. The project will include not only theme parks, including one dedicated to manga, but also hotels, dining facilities, and housing for young workers and students. The development will be located on the site of the defunct Mirapolis theme park, which closed in 1991.
