Students Journey 100km to Report Their Love-Struck Teachers: A Bhopal Story

In a remarkable incident from Madhya Pradesh’s Chhindwara district, school students traveled 100 km to voice their concerns about two teachers whose alleged romantic involvement was affecting their education. The group, comprising about 50-60 students from grades 5 to 8, along with guardians, sought the intervention of senior officials after classes reportedly ended prematurely so the teachers could spend time together.

Following their complaint, the tribal welfare department acted promptly by removing the teachers from their positions and designating them ineligible for future teaching roles. A notice was also issued to the school’s principal, and further disciplinary action was proposed.

This situation highlights the students’ determination to prioritize their education, bringing attention to the need for proper oversight in school governance.
