Moeve Reports Strong H1 2026 Performance Amid Geopolitical Challenges

Moeve has announced a Clean CCS EBITDA of €1.18 billion for the first half of 2026, showcasing its operational resilience in the face of geopolitical tensions and fluctuating market conditions. The company reports a year-over-year increase of 41% in Clean CCS Net Income, totaling €458 million, alongside operating cash flows of €762 million.
Key investments during this period included a 20% rise in capital expenditure to €605 million, with 69% directed towards energy transition projects such as renewable hydrogen and sustainable mobility. This investment strategy aligns with Moeve’s Positive Motion initiative and aims to support the construction of Europe’s largest green hydrogen project in Andalusia.
Moeve also revealed a contribution of €2.1 billion in taxes in Spain and reduced its leverage to 1.2x, supported by robust cash flow generation. Operationally, the Energy division led the earnings with €945 million in Clean CCS EBITDA, driven by high utilization rates and strong refining margins.
