On July 26, 2026, a 44-year-old Georgia man named David Crosby II was arrested on the Carnival Glory cruise ship while it was on a three-night Bahamas cruise. He allegedly attacked two children who were playing tag in a hallway, reportedly striking one child in the face and another in the stomach. Crosby, who was heavily intoxicated during the incident, pleaded not guilty to two counts of child abuse without great bodily harm.
Carnival’s security team acted quickly, and the incident was recorded on the ship’s security system. After the incident, Crosby was confined to his cabin for the rest of the voyage, referred to local law enforcement upon docking in Port Canaveral, and added to the cruise line’s Do Not Sail list. Carnival stated that they have a zero-tolerance policy for such behavior.
