The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is currently investigating a multi-state outbreak of salmonella that appears to be linked to a widely used dietary supplement. So far, this outbreak has impacted 45 individuals, according to their reports.
Health authorities are actively gathering information to examine the connection between salmonella infections and the “Live it Up Super Green” supplement powders.
As of January 14, the CDC has reported 45 salmonella cases across 21 states, including New York. The illnesses have been recorded with onset dates ranging from August 22, 2025, to December 30, 2025.
Out of 41 individuals for whom information is available, 12 have required hospitalization, but thankfully, no fatalities have been reported.

Salmonella is a pathogen that can trigger severe and potentially life-threatening infections, particularly in young children, elderly individuals, and those with weakened immune systems, as noted by the FDA.
For healthy individuals, salmonella infections often result in symptoms such as fever, diarrhea (which can be bloody), nausea, vomiting, and abdominal discomfort. In some cases, salmonella can enter the bloodstream, leading to more serious conditions like arterial infections (such as infected aneurysms), endocarditis, and arthritis.
Customers seeking refunds are encouraged to contact Live it Up at recall@artofenso.com, providing their name, order number, and a photograph of the affected product featuring lot codes that begin with “A” along with stick pack items.
This situation underscores the importance of vigilance when it comes to dietary supplements. Consumers should always stay informed and check for any recalls related to products they use.
In conclusion, the CDC’s investigation into this salmonella outbreak serves as a reminder to prioritize food safety and to act promptly if you have purchased the implicated products. Remaining vigilant is essential for your health and well-being.
