Meghan Markle and Kids Will Travel to the UK
Meghan Markle has decided to travel to the UK with her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, after initially canceling their plans due to security concerns. Despite the upcoming trip, she does not plan to make any public appearances or attend the Invictus Games with Prince Harry.
While in London, the family hopes to visit Princess Diana’s burial site at Althorp Estate and is also trying to coordinate a visit for their children to meet King Charles III, who has recently faced health challenges. However, no arrangements have been confirmed yet.
The couple initially opted out of the trip after being denied taxpayer-funded security, which left Prince Harry worried about the safety of his children amid potential paparazzi attention. A royal insider mentioned that Harry was “distraught” about this and that he was actively exploring ways to ensure the safety of his family.
There had been a previous offer from King Charles for Harry and Meghan to stay at Buckingham Palace, but this was retracted. It is also unclear if there will be a family reunion during their visit, particularly with Prince William and other royal family members.
