DagangHalal Strengthens Malaysia’s Presence at MEGA HALAL Bangkok 2026
KUALA LUMPUR: DagangHalal.com, a global halal-verified B2B e-marketplace, has been appointed by Comasia Limited as the Strategic Sales Partner for Malaysia, China, and Japan at MEGA HALAL Bangkok 2026.
The exhibition, held from July 15-17, 2026, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, saw Malaysia represented by 24 exhibitors across various sectors, including food and beverage, wellness, and beauty. DagangHalal showcased over 40 halal brands through its World Halal Supermarket, facilitating connections with buyers, importers, and distributors.
This platform allowed participating companies to access potential business partners, assess market demand, and explore opportunities throughout Thailand and ASEAN. The opening ceremony featured Thailand’s Prime Minister H.E. Anutin Charnvirakul and His Highness Prince Sulaiman Shah Al-Haj.
Emphasizing Thailand’s ambition to be a regional halal trade hub, the Prime Minister’s keynote speech framed the theme as “HALAL CONNECT: From Local Trust to Global Trade.”
Malaysia’s Ambassador to Thailand, H.E. Datuk Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah, engaged with exhibitors to discuss products and export plans, reaffirming Malaysia’s role as a trusted halal sourcing hub and recognizing Thailand as a key partner in halal industry development.
DagangHalal aims to leverage its digital marketplace alongside physical trade engagements to assist manufacturers in expanding regionally. The event featured over 1,200 exhibitors from 22 countries, targeting more than 20,000 buyers, all supported by extensive business matching.
Additionally, DagangHalal introduced its Halal Internal Assurance System, a cloud-based platform for managing halal and food-safety documentation.
For more detailed updates and future opportunities, DagangHalal looks to collaborate with MATRADE and other trade agencies.
