NUTRITION 2026, the flagship meeting of the American Society for Nutrition, will be held from July 25–28 in National Harbor, Maryland, just outside Washington, D.C.
This year’s event will feature over 1,650 scientific studies, showcasing new, unpublished research along with talks on various topics, including AI-powered dietary tools, obesity and GLP-1 therapies, food additive regulations, and future dietary guidance.
The ASN is a key organization for nutrition researchers and clinicians globally. Established in 1928, it brings together leading nutrition scientists, medical professionals, policymakers, and industry experts to enhance knowledge and application in the field. ASN also publishes four peer-reviewed journals and offers educational resources to boost nutrition research and practice.
Each year, faculty, researchers, staff, and students from the Friedman School participate in this annual meeting, engaging in poster presentations, panel discussions, and leading seminars. A list of Friedman community representatives at this year’s conference will be organized by date to help facilitate networking and collaboration, also serving as a resource for the public interested in following ongoing research.
