During cross-examination, Singleton admitted that while he didn’t know Young Thug personally (real name Jeffery Williams), he recognized him as a fan, especially enjoying the hit song “Lifestyle.”
The trial, which has already extended beyond six months, has become the longest in Georgia’s history, with Young Thug facing serious charges that include conspiracy and gang activity. Defense attorney Doug Weinstein criticized the proceedings as excessively prolonged and described the state’s witness testimony as redundant. Despite the challenges, Young Thug has received vocal support from various artists, including Drake and T.I., who remains optimistic about his potential acquittal.
