13 Reasons to Love Wax Melts

owl wax burner

I never imagined I would find an alternative to candles that I enjoy more. Recently, I discovered that my oil warmers also function effectively as wax or tart burners. Once I realized this, I decided to purchase two different types of wax melts to try out: Glade’s Clean Linen, which happens to be my favorite candle scent, and Febreze’s Gain Original Scent.

Out of the two, Febreze melts quickly became my favorite. The fragrance is significantly more powerful. Just one cube filled my entire living, dining, and kitchen areas with a warm, comforting aroma reminiscent of freshly laundered clothes. In all my candle experiences, I’ve never encountered one that could fill a space like that, and I consider myself a candle enthusiast.

Glade melts also performed admirably, but the scent was not as strong or long-lasting as that of the Febreze melts. They are an excellent option for smaller spaces, such as a bathroom or bedroom, and are perfect for individuals who are sensitive to strong fragrances and may experience headaches.

Febreze melts are priced at $2.97 for 2.75 oz, which includes six wax cubes. Additional scents include Hawaiian Aloha, Meadows and Rain, Mediterranean Lavender, and Wild Berries & Honey. Febreze also offers a “Home Collection” that includes a plug-in warmer, featuring a broader range of fragrances like Palm Leaf and Almond Sugar. In comparison, Glade Wax Melts are similarly priced at $2.99 for 3.1 oz, or eight individual cubes, with available scents such as Pumpkin Spice, Apple Cinnamon, Pure Vanilla Joy, Cashmere Woods, Hawaiian Breeze, and Lavender and Peach Blossom.

I am truly fond of these wax melts and use them regularly. While I’ll always cherish my beloved candles, I find that these melts are fantastic, long-lasting, and much more budget-friendly.

Have you tried any of these melts?
