Cloudinary Launches AI Video Publishing Tools for MediaFlows

Cloudinary has unveiled new AI-powered automation tools for video publishing within its MediaFlows platform, enhancing its no-code workflow capabilities. This update aims to streamline the post-production process, making it easier for brands to publish video content across diverse markets without requiring extensive specialist teams.

The latest features include automated subtitle generation and translation, metadata creation, and chapter marker production. These additions are designed to minimize manual post-production efforts, empowering brands to efficiently distribute video content on a wider scale.

MediaFlows functions as Cloudinary’s comprehensive workflow automation solution for managing image and video operations. The recent improvements extend its range to encompass publishing tasks that usually occur between editing and distribution, focusing on localization, accessibility, and search optimization.

Users can develop custom workflows in MediaFlows through a user-friendly no-code builder or by using a natural language workflow agent. The newly introduced functions can be seamlessly integrated into existing automated sequences.

Video Workflow

One of the key tools automatically generates subtitles from the original audio and translates them into multiple languages. This feature is tailored for companies aiming to reach international audiences or ensure compliance with accessibility standards, eliminating the need for manual subtitle management for each video.

Another valuable addition is the capability to create comprehensive video metadata, including titles, descriptions, and tags. This supports better discoverability within digital asset management systems and enhances how video content performs in search engines as well as AI-driven search tools.

Cloudinary has also rolled out an automated chapter generation feature for long-form content, enabling chapter markers that assist viewers in navigating product demonstrations, explainer videos, and reviews without the hassle of scanning through the entire video.

Subtitle translation, metadata tagging, and chapter creation often involve repetitive work, yet they play a vital role in enhancing discoverability and usability, particularly for brands operating in multiple regions.

The platform is designed to manage and deliver image and video assets for brands and developers. Its comprehensive suite of tools enables users to store, transform, optimize, and distribute media across websites, applications, and various digital channels.

This development adds to a growing portfolio of software solutions that harness AI to enhance production workflows rather than just content creation. In video publishing, this trend aims to reduce the time spent on preparatory tasks outside the creative realm that are essential before content release.
