Google TV Integrates Google’s Advanced AI Creation Tools

This morning, Google unveiled exciting updates for users of Google TV on select devices, introducing innovative AI-powered tools. If you’ve explored the Gemini app and experimented with features like Nano Banana or Veo, this announcement will certainly pique your interest.

Initially, these features will be available on Gemini-enabled TCL televisions running Google TV in the United States, allowing users to unleash their creativity with Nano Banana and Veo. With Nano Banana, you can voice-command edits to your photos, while Veo enables you to create original video clips or polish existing ones.

YouTube Shorts: A new feature is set to arrive on Google TV—a dedicated “Short videos for you” row will be added to your Home page. This update is expected to roll out to Google TV devices in the US over the summer.

Google Photos Remix: Additionally, Google Photos albums can now be transformed into a slideshow using Google Photos Remix. You can also utilize Gemini on Google TV to locate any photos that may be hidden in your library. To begin using Google Photos Remix, go to the screensaver settings under “Quick Settings” and choose Google Photos as your source.

If you own a TCL TV featuring Gemini, you’ll be among the first to experience these exciting updates. Other Google TV users will gradually see these enhancements, although software rollouts can take some time.
