TRIP Launches New Sleep Supplements for Night-Time Wellness

TRIP has introduced two new relaxation products, powered by natural ingredients such as magnesium, chamomile, and valerian root, both of which are free from CBD. This launch aims to cater to those seeking a soothing way to wind down.

According to Olivia Ferdi, the founder of TRIP, this initiative underscores the brand’s commitment to promoting relaxation. Each product comes with a complimentary three-month premium membership to Calm, the leading app for sleep, meditation, and relaxation.

“We’ve brought calm to the daytime, and Dream Blend is an exciting step in allowing us to show up in even more moments when consumers are looking to unwind,” she remarked. “Our community has been asking us for a sleep-focused product for a long time, and we’re proud to have created options that fit seamlessly into daily routines while helping people relax at night and rise refreshed for the day ahead.”

Sleep as a Growing Consumer Concern

Currently valued at approximately $6.8 billion, the global sleep supplement market is expected to reach $11.8 billion by 2034, according to Allied Market Research. This significant growth is largely due to increased public awareness about the integral role of sleep in overall health and the considerable number of individuals struggling with sleep; Statista reports that 40% of people do not get quality sleep regularly.

The rise in sleep issues has spurred a surge in sleep supplements entering the market, particularly ingredients like magnesium, chamomile, and ashwagandha, especially in countries where melatonin requires a prescription, such as the UK.

Various forms of sleep supplements have emerged in recent years, ranging from capsules and tablets to dissolvable oral strips. TRIP’s decision to offer both gummies and a powder is tailored to integrate smoothly into consumers’ daily lives.

“The powder emphasizes ritual, as it can be stirred into water to signal a winding down before bedtime,” a TRIP representative shared with NutraIngredients. “The gummies prioritize convenience, providing an easy, on-the-go option.”

In addition to their different formats, the products feature unique ingredient profiles. The pomegranate and blueberry-flavored gummies include magnesium, lavender, chamomile, passionflower, valerian, griffonia, lemon balm, and vitamin B6, whereas the powder contains tart cherry, magnesium glycinate, L-theanine, chamomile, and lavender.

“Interest in these ingredients continues to swell, with searches for magnesium glycinate increasing by about 44% over the past year,” the spokesperson noted. “Our goal was to formulate blends that support both the body and mind while being plant-based, low in sugar, free from artificial colors and flavors, and easy to use.”

The Dream Blend Campaign

To promote the new launch, TRIP has initiated the Dream Blend campaign. This campaign aims to stand out in the crowded sleep supplement market by presenting a straightforward, one-step evening product.

With the slogan, “Dream Better to Dream Bigger,” the campaign positions the products as part of a nightly ritual designed to tackle restless nights and improve sleep quality.

“The Dream Blend campaign is focused on shifting perceptions of sleep from a reactive consideration to an active component of daily routines,” the spokesperson stated. “It encourages simple evening rituals that allow for a proper wind-down, supported by our products and tools like Calm. Ultimately, our goal is to help our community relax at night so they can awaken feeling refreshed and ready for the day ahead.”
