Chocolate Bar Recall: Gluten Found in Ministry of Chocolate New York Product

Recent news from the Ministry of Chocolate has raised concerns for customers regarding a potential allergen in one of its popular products. This announcement comes as part of the company’s commitment to consumer safety.

The confectionery brand issued a recall notification through email and Instagram on Monday afternoon, revealing that its New York Inspired bar contains gluten, which was not declared on the packaging.

“Consumers with a gluten allergy or intolerance may experience an adverse reaction if they consume this product,” the statement explained.

The New York Inspired bar, featuring a delightful combination of milk chocolate, peanut butter, and jam filling, has been sold at various independent food retailers in Western Australia and New South Wales, as well as through IGA stores in Victoria.

The Ministry of Chocolate strongly advises customers with gluten allergies to refrain from consuming the affected chocolate bar and to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

“Consumers are encouraged to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund. Anyone with health concerns should consult a medical professional,” the company stated.

This Australian-owned brand operates out of Croydon, Victoria, and remains dedicated to ensuring the safety and satisfaction of its customers.
