February Favorites: Thirteen Highlights

beauty and lifestyle blogFebruary was a brief yet vibrant month that whizzed past, as it always seems to do. I’ve gathered a selection of favorites from this month, a few of which you may recognize from previous posts.

1. Bella Mechelle Vixen Body Oil. This body oil continues to impress me as much as when I first reviewed it. With its moisturizing, non-sticky texture and delightful scent, it’s made from all-natural, handmade ingredients. I love incorporating it into my shower routine instead of regular lotion.

2. Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless Foundation. This foundation has been my top choice for the last couple of weeks. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it, particularly given my past experiences with Maybelline’s foundations.

3. cBooth Honey Almond Nourishing Dry Oil. I’m really impressed with this dry oil. I already loved the cBooth body butter in the same scent, so it was no surprise that this product won me over as well. It hydrates without leaving a greasy finish, and it refreshes the skin perfectly. An excellent find from the drugstore!

4. MAC Blush in Harmony. I frequently return to this blush. With my lighter skin tone, I prefer subtle contouring and steer clear of deep bronzers. This blush is ideal, offering a soft taupe shade that looks natural rather than overly dramatic.

5. Essie Nail Polish in “Tuck It In My Tux”. I recently wrote about this nail polish, and I’m still smitten with it. The shade is versatile, perfect for any season or occasion, and the sheer formula is universally flattering.

6. Neutrogena Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer SPF50 for Sensitive Skin. This product is a winner! I finally discovered a sunscreen that doesn’t irritate my skin or cause my eyes to water. I prefer using higher SPF, and the 50 is just right. It works beautifully under makeup, doesn’t appear greasy, and leaves no white cast—I’ve definitely found my ideal moisturizer! 😉

7. ChapStick Mixstix in Strawberry Banana Smoothie. Lastly, I’m excited about this new lip balm from ChapStick. It features a dual-ended design with Strawberry on one side and Banana on the other. You can use them individually or blend them together, and they both smell divine. This fun product has quickly become my go-to lip balm!
