The AI agent empowers hotel personnel to utilize a chat interface for efficiently handling various operational tasks such as room assignments, generating housekeeping reports, managing overbookings, coordinating guest arrivals, and adjusting reservations—all without the hassle of navigating multiple applications.

Apaleo developed Copilot within an open API-first framework, allowing businesses to input their own standard operating procedures and internal documentation directly into the platform.

This tailored training approach enables the AI to respond according to each property’s unique processes and operational models.

Consequently, the tool can be customized to meet the specific needs of various properties, from individual hotels to extensive hospitality groups.

Apaleo Copilot boasts a variety of features, including booking extensions, intelligent room allocation based on guest preferences or group status, detection of no-shows with applicable fee assessments, and daily operational briefings that address room status along with incoming and outgoing guest details.

Staff can interact with the system using natural language, making it accessible for employees without a technical background.

The platform’s architecture also allows for connections to third-party applications and agents, facilitating broader communication among various hotel operations.

Ulrich Pillau, Apaleo’s CEO and founder, remarked, “We designed Apaleo Copilot to be intuitive from the start, enabling staff to complete genuine tasks in natural language within the system they already use. This represents a much simpler and more natural integration of AI into hotel operations.”

According to Apaleo, this AI seamlessly integrates into existing workflows rather than being added as an external tool.

Recently, Apaleo and THE FLAG group rolled out the AI Trace Agent, a feature that transforms guest reservation comments into actionable tasks for hotel staff, all without requiring manual input.
