Los Angeles Prepares for Zombies Before Super Bowl

“What in the world is happening?” — California Governor, Gavin Newsom

Gender X?

The Golden State is often bathed in sunshine, even in January. Yet, lurking beneath this glorious weather is a troubling darkness.

Take, for instance, State Senator Scott Wiener, who recently proposed a bill that would enable children aged 12 and older to receive vaccinations for COVID-19 without parental notification or consent. Wiener argues that this aligns with existing state laws allowing teenagers to undergo abortions and access birth control without informing their parents.

However, the fate of Wiener’s bill may be uncertain. His colleague, State Senator Dick Pan, has introduced a bill that would mandate vaccinations for all children attending K-12 schools, irrespective of personal convictions. No vaccination? No school.

This situation may turn out to be a blessing in disguise; being expelled from school amid the decline of western civilization might just be what any child needs. Who deserves an education from people who seem completely out of touch with reality?

Before we opted to withdraw our son from a local Long Beach high school, he was being taught history by someone identifying as “Mx.” This individual, a man with a green beard, was ambiguous about his gender identity.

Although this might sound bizarre, it reflects a broader confusion about gender that has taken root in California, and it’s a genuine concern.

A few years ago, California’s Department of Motor Vehicles attempted to tackle this issue by introducing a nonbinary gender designation (denoted as X instead of M or F) for driver’s licenses and ID cards, but this only added to the confusion.

For those identifying as gender X, the question remains: which locker room is appropriate for changing into swimwear?

Logic seems to have vanished in this absurd landscape.

To address this issue locally, the Long Beach Unified School District is using funds from school repair and safety bonds to construct aquatic centers equipped with all-gender locker rooms. This allows individuals uncertain of their biological sex to enjoy swim facilities without facing the dilemma of gender identification.

Moreover, even those who firmly believe in their biological gender will be compelled to use all-gender locker rooms, as these are the only options available.

What could possibly go wrong?

Zombie Apocalypse

California, unsurprisingly, has been experiencing a slow decline for decades. Public displays of gender confusion are merely one symptom of this societal deterioration.

Recent trends involving flash mob thefts and rampant train heists have drawn the ire of local officials, garnering unwanted national attention. For many Americans, this offers a foreboding glimpse into the future.

The zombie apocalypse may soon arrive in your city or town. However, in California’s urban areas, it has already manifested itself and been a reality for many years.

According to the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, as of 2020, Los Angeles County had a homeless population of approximately 66,463. To put this in perspective, SoFi Stadium, built in Inglewood at a cost of $5 billion, seats 70,000 people.

If you plan to watch the Rams take on the San Francisco 49ers or tune in for the Super Bowl in a few weeks, keep in mind that the number of homeless individuals in LA County nearly fills SoFi Stadium to 95 percent capacity. Furthermore, the annual homeless count was not conducted in 2021 due to COVID-19, meaning that the current figure likely exceeds 70,000.

Homeless individuals are prevalent everywhere, with makeshift camps dotting the banks of the expansive Los Angeles River between Downtown Los Angeles and Downtown Long Beach. Bidenvilles can be found along sidewalks and beneath highway overpasses. When you offer a dollar to someone in need, they might complain, “That’s it?!”, further indicating that inflation is spiraling out of control.

The massive army of individuals roaming the LA landscape—yelling at the air and relieving themselves on driveways—has become an embarrassment for local leaders. The large number of tents and makeshift shelters can no longer be overlooked.

What’s the solution?

Los Angeles Tackles Zombies Ahead of Super Bowl

Addressing dirty jobs requires skilled professionals. Planet Green, a company specializing in emergency disaster and biohazard cleanup, was seen early Monday morning clearing out homeless encampments near SoFi Stadium while wearing hazmat suits.

Is this coordinated effort linked to the upcoming Super Bowl, or merely a coincidence?

The Mayor of Inglewood, James Butts, states that the clearing of these encampments relates to safety and forms part of routine cleanups around the city. Local business owner Jass Singh offered another viewpoint:

“Finally, it’s being cleared; they should have done this five or ten years ago.”

Cleaning up zombie camps ahead of major events has been a common tactic for local officials since at least the 1980s. A local advocacy group, “Services Not Sweeps”, released a statement expressing concern:

“This is the same strategy used by politicians anytime a significant event occurs in LA, be it the Super Bowl, Oscars, or Olympics. They deploy law enforcement and criminalization to erase any evidence of their failure to address the city’s affordable housing crisis.”

The organization expresses compassion, and while it’s true that political decisions have contributed to this manmade disaster, political solutions remain elusive. The reality is that LA’s zombie apocalypse is now too deep-rooted to reverse. Once a city descends into decay, it tends to continue its downward spiral.

It’s disheartening and frustrating, and while we cannot alter the situation, an urgent issue remains. The reality is:

The Super Bowl is on February 13. Century Boulevard, spanning roughly 4 miles between LAX and SoFi Stadium, will need to be cleared. Will Planet Green manage to tidy up all the camps along this route in time?

It’s a long shot.
